the RTX 5090 celebrated its first birthday on January 30, 2026. unfortunately, the celebration tastes bitter for people who wanted to buy NVIDIA’s flagship GPU. the graphics card launched on January 30, 2025, and has already experienced difficult times due to worldwide stock shortages. availability was significantly delayed. with its 32GB of GDDR7 memory, the RTX 5090 remains the most powerful Blackwell configuration. last year, you had to spend around $2,000 to get this raw power. sadly, memory shortages have drastically changed things. now the lowest price on Newegg is $3,699 for an MSI RTX 5090 Liquid. other online stores simply have no stock at all. new generation GPUs should not arrive before mid-2027.
