CD Projekt Red has announced in its Q3 2025 financial report that Cyberpunk 2077 has officially become its primary revenue source, having surpassed 35 million copies sold since its launch less than five years ago. The company’s Chief Financial Officer revealed that these figures exceed The Witcher 3’s sales during the same post-release period, confirming the game’s continued expansion to new platforms.
This year saw the release of Switch 2 and Mac versions for Apple Silicon devices, along with the game’s addition to the PlayStation Plus library, which boosted Phantom Liberty expansion sales on PlayStation platforms. The CFO noted that the game continues to achieve “strong organic sales” on current platforms compared to last year, despite its availability through subscription services.
