Intel Arc B580 – Best value right now. 12GB VRAM (50% more than competitors), XeSS 3 with multi-frame generation, crushes 1080p and 1440p. Only downsides are higher power draw and XeSS game support isn’t as widespread as DLSS yet.
Nvidia RTX 5050 – Solid if you’re married to Nvidia. DLSS 4 generating 3 AI frames, but only 8GB VRAM. About 2.5% slower than Arc B580, but that NVENC encoder is perfect for streaming.
AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT – The 8GB version isn’t worth it. The 16GB at $350-400 is interesting with FSR 4, but at that price you’re close to mid-range territory.

RTX 3070 / 3070 Ti – My favorite used card. Performance basically matches RTX 4060 Ti, handles 1440p beautifully. Best upgrade from GTX 1060/1070.
RTX 4060 – At $279, noticeably better than RTX 5050. DLSS 3 with frame generation, but only 8GB VRAM will bite you eventually.
